Warfighters require a strict and regular system of training that incorporates an ever-changing arsenal of tools. C6I services provide new equipment training (NET), fielding, combat training (CBT), logistics, end-of-life (EOL) equipment replacement, and operations and maintenance (O&M) assistance to fire support command and control systems. The programs used include the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS), Palm Forward Entry Device (PFED) system, Lightweight Forward Entry Device (LFED) system, Gun Display Unit (GDU-R), and Cross-Domain Enterprise All-Source User Repository (CENTAUR). These were used in National Training Centers (NTCs), Joint Readiness Training Centers (JRTC), Network Integration Evaluation (NIE) locations, and in Afghanistan.
